Camp Okuti Hotel is situated in the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Botswana in the remote north-eastern part of the Okavango Delta. Camp Okuti nestles in the shade of large, beautiful old trees and overlooks the Xakanaxa Lagoon. Okuti Hotel bordering the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, where Africa's 'big' mammals are found, often in very large herds. Experience game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve in specially designed safari vehicles and expert tour guides, allowing unhindered views for game viewing and photography. Moremi is a park rich in wildlife and game viewing is consistent year round so it is ideal for the first time visitor to Botswana. In addition to game drives you can explore the delta waterways by motorboat - from open lagoons to winding channels it is a birder's paradise, especially for herons and storks in the breeding season. Camp Okuti's location enables everyone who stays to experience the marvels of Moremi Wildlife Reserve, including the resident lions that make this wild place their home. You'll know you're in the wilderness as you lie in your chalet at night and listen to the hippos grunting in the lagoon just a stone's throw from your door. The lodge also has an open-air Boma, ideal for dinners around the campfire. There is also a small swimming pool – very popular on a summer afternoon.

Camp Okuti Hotel Accommodation
Camp Okuti is a newly built lodge, as it replaces the original camp that was on the same site. The Okuti lodge has a unique design, but in keeping with its history, is still family friendly. This is still a small lodge, and there are 5 standard units. In addition there are 2 units which each have 2 bedrooms, allowing for families/ friends. The lodge takes children from the age of 7 years and upwards. All accommodation is en suite.
Camp Okuti caters for a maximum of 18 guests, accommodation in insect-proofed thatched chalets each with ensuite bathroom, hot and cold running water and flush toilets. Most chalets are twin share with the exception of the family chalet which offers two rooms sharing a bathroom, ideal for families as Okuti is a child friendly lodge. Each chalet faces west and overlooks one of the Delta's most spectacular lagoons with stunning African sunsets. The staff and managers will take every care to ensure that all your needs and requirements are met during your stay. There is one honeymoon suite and one family room all with private en suite bathroom, overlooking the Delta. Camp Okuti is enclosed and thus wonderful for the first time visitor to Africa who might need that 'safety' factor. In the evening you may relax by the camp fire and wait for your dinner to be served in the candlelit dining room, followed by liqueurs enjoyed in the sunken lounge.

Camp Okuti Activities and Information Guide
Activities include safari game viewing in open 4x4 vehicles into the Moremi Game Reserve, game walks and boat trips to view an abundance of birdlife. There are over 450 species of birds and 75 species of mammal, including elephant, lion & leopard.
Moremi is known for its abundant wildlife which roams free across the diverse landscape. This includes a huge number of mammals and all the large predators. The exciting trip to the upper delta in a motorboat will give you the opportunity to view the abundant birdlife, Hippos, Crocodiles and various small water animals.
Game drives are offered in the morning and afternoon – allowing you the chance to explore this beautiful and most diverse area of the Park. There are waterways, open plains and forested areas to visit. Game viewing is thus equally varied, with the chance to see wild dog, leopard, lion, and numerous plains game. You can also explore the nearby waterways by motorboat, which allows for some excellent birding (which is particularly good from November to March). There are also seasonal excursions to the Gadikwe Heronry.
