| Baines Camp |
Overlooking the Boro River and a permanent lagoon teeming with wildlife, Baines’ Camp, sister to the renowned Stanley’s Camp, is an exclusive lodge tucked into the remote wilderness of the Okavango Delta. Named after the 19th Century explorer and artist whose work is displayed throughout the camp, Baines’ lies in a private concession bordering the Moremi Reserve and offers excellent and varied game viewing from land and water.
Surrounded by glorious waterscapes, the camp features five elevated suites set on platforms at tree line level. Classically luxurious, each spacious bedroom has a fully mobile four poster bed that can be wheeled outside for nights under the star-studded African skies. These star beds, the first in the Delta, will delight astronomers whilst during the day, hammocks swinging in the shade and a swimming pool provide every opportunity for relaxation.
