Richard’s Camp hotel is a small and exclusive tented camp located to the North West, on the edge of a beautiful forest in the Masai Mara conservation area in Kenya
A truly traditional luxury tented camp atmosphere perfect as a base for exploring the Masai Mara and its magic, guests have the opportunity to experience the real Africa; heart-stopping game viewing, evenings enjoying cocktails by a cozy campfire and delicious three-course meals under an awe inspiring canopy of stars
Originally built as the Robert's home while carrying out conservation work in the Mara, Richard's Camp is a classic tented camp which provides today’s explorer with many modern conveniences, yet retains the pioneer traditions of comfort and hospitality. Tucked away in the edge of a beautiful forest, elephant and plains game are regular visitors to the camp’s perimeter and bird life abounds. Richard’s camp is owned and hosted by Richard Roberts and his partner Liz Fusco. Richard was raised in the Masai Mara and it is his intimate knowledge of the bush and the Masai people, together with the traditional Kenyan warm hospitality, which ensures guests a very special experience. Your day is designed to be as relaxing or as exciting as you wish. Richard and his family have been instrumental in preserving the valuable eco-system in this area. In 1992 Richard's father, Willy, helped form the Community Conservation Area on which the camp is located. Conservation is also a major concern for Richard and a portion of every overnight stay cost is put back into the community and local projects.
Richard’s Camp hotel Accommodation
