Larsen's is a small luxurious tented camp set in lush lawns on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. 17 tents are shaded by palm trees and have en suite bathrooms.

All face the river. You can view birds and monkeys from your room while an animal-viewing platform in the trees lets you scan the vast Samburu plain. Relax on your private deck listening to the wild sounds while the monkeys play in the trees around you.

This is camping in style with colonial elegance; hot showers and towelling gowns in your tent add a high degree of comfort. The dining tent is open on three sides so you can look out over the river while you enjoy a first class dinner served by candlelight.

Get taken back in time in the bar where historical artefacts add to the ambience while you play backgammon or chess. After dinner you can sit around a campfire and chat with other guests or gaze at the Milky Way and see the galaxy as never before.
