At the foot of the Chyulu Hills rests the friendly luxury tented lodge of Finch Hattons. You will experience wildlife at your doorstep, as Finch Hattons is unfenced. Animals come and go as they please - after all, you are in the wild!

Each tent is equipped with deluxe beds and all the amenities of a room in a five star hotel, including a supply of electricity, a fully stocked mini-bar, en-suite toilet, wash basin and generous slate walled shower room, complete with hot and cold running water.

The main lodge comprises of a dining hall, lounge/bar and the terrace, where breakfast is served overlooking the hippo pool against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will enjoy excellent cuisine with top quality service.

Tables are decked with silverware, cut crystal and porcelain to service your five-course dinner in style. After dinner you are taken back to your tent by armed askaris (traditional Masai warriors) to spend the night under canvas in the wild.

Access and Distance
    * The camp is best accessed by air. The lodge has it’s our own airstrip, 5 Minutes drive to the camp, for easy access by chartered or private aircraft. There are regular flights to Finch Hatton’s from Nairobi on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing at 3 Pm from Wilson Airport
    * There are daily flights to Finch Hatton’s from Mombasa and Ukunda by Mombasa Air Services
    * Alternatively Finch Hattons is approximately 260kms drive from Nairobi

    * 25 permanently sited safari style tents
    * En- suite bathrooms, brass fittings, large mirrors, WC, hot and cold running water and showers.
    * The tents have electricity, with shaver outlets for 110v and 220v, hairdryer and battery charger outlet for 220v as well as a fully stocked minibar fridge
    * Outside seating area with chairs, table and day bed
