Hotel des Mille Collines is a four star hotel set in a large exotic garden in the centre of Kigali and is a great place for an overnight stop to explore this bustling town. The story of the hotel manager during the genocide has now been immortalised in the film Hotel Rwanda and there is a moving genocide memorial close to the hotel.

There are 112 comfortable en-suite rooms with all the facilities you would expect from a modern hotel. There is a swimming pool and two bustling bars. The top floor restaurant offers great views over the town.
