Tatenda Lodge is situated on Glen Airmore Farm in the Bean River Valley some 650 meters above sea level in the Zuurberg Mountain range.

The property straddles the original wagon route to the interior which was constructed between 1850 and 1860 predominantly by hand and in itself represents a remarkable feat of human endeavour and ingenuity.
