Day 1 – 3 : Pennington
You will be met at Durban International Airport by a CC Africa representative and assisted with the collection of your rental car. Drive to Pennington for your first stopover at Lynton Hall. Now in its third century and host to royalty, Prime Ministers, men of letters and captains of business, Lynton Hall was the sanctuary of sugar baron Sir Frank Reynolds.

Day 3 – 5 : Drakensberg
After breakfast, drive to Cleopatra. Tucked deep into the KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg, which is now regarded as one of the world’s most precious natural and cultural treasures, lies Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse. In its awesome setting with splendid views of the mountains and abundant with crystal-clear streams and waterfalls, Cleopatra is the ultimate in peace, tranquillity and solitude.

Day 5 – 7 : Natal midland
After breakfast it is a short drive to your next stop, Hartford House. Home to the family of the last Prime Minister of the Colony of Natal, Hartford House is situated on South Africa’s most famous thoroughbred farm near Giant’s Castle.

Day 7 – 9 : Zululand
After breakfast depart to Three Tree Hill. Surrounded by the Drakensberg Mountains, overlooking the secluded Umfazomnyama Valley of the Spioenkop Nature Reserve and in the lee of the famous hill, Spioenkop, lies Three Tree Hill Lodge. The Lodge overlooks the Spioenkop Nature Reserve, which contains white rhino, giraffe, zebra, eland, kudu, numerous smaller antelope and 270 recorded bird species.

Day 9 – 11 : Zululand
After breakfast depart to Fugitive’s Drift. The Anglo/Zulu War of 1879 is famous for the great battles of Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift. Survivors from Isandlwana crossed the Buffalo River at a place forever after named ‘Fugitives' Drift’.

Day 11 – 13 : Phinda Private Game Reserve
Depart for Phinda Private Game Reserve, bordering the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park – a World Heritage Site. Comprising seven distinct habitats, Phinda offers exceptional Big Five game-viewing on twice-daily game-drives, bush walks, riverboat cruises and canoeing.
Due to its proximity to the Indian Ocean, a range of Phinda Adventures are offered, including exhilarating air safaris, scuba diving, horse-riding and deep-sea fishing, allowing guests the opportunity to get face-to-face with lions in the morning and up close to a whale shark or battling sailfish after lunch.

Day 13 – 15 : Maputaland
After your early morning game-drive and breakfast, depart by air charter to Rocktail Bay. Rocktail Bay is situated in northern Natal, within the Maputaland Coastal Forest Reserve, adjoining the Maputaland Marine Reserve.
